Renting The Home Out Review

I worked with paul on selling a home, buying a home, renting the home out, and strategy about the markets and feel he is one of the most trustworthy and honest people in the field. I like that he is very down to earth. I don't usually trust salesmen/realtors since their commissions are based on closing deals, but I worked with Paul for a while and never felt any pressure, and often was advised against a property I was excited about which shows that he is in it for the long term and isn't going to make a deal that he wouldn't back himself personally. In addition to knowing the market really well, he is a really hard working and genuinely nice guy who will stretch himself and go out of his way to help out with open houses, helping you move, helping pick up keys, etc.

Kathy is amazingly helpful, easy to work with, professional, and reasonable people. I feel very lucky to have responded to her ad. She was willing to work with our budget and needs to find something that is just perfect for us. Apartment hunting was such a stressful experience. You run into some real slimey people that are only watching their own back and willing to screw you over. Kathy also has your interests in mind and watches out for you, which is amazing. She is reasonably flexible and accommodating as well, which makes the experience so much better. Can't say enough about her, if you're looking to rent out/sell your place, you want Kathy on your side who will make potential renters/buyers happy to close the deal. If you're a renter/buyer, Kathy will get you what you want and make it work.

Better Property Management Rentals Review

Alana, who works in the office and despite being extraordinarily busy virtually all the time is really friendly and always willing to listen and respond thoughtfully. She made the lease signing process and move in easy and gave me a great reference when she spoke to my new landlord. And then there's Jan, the property manager at the building. Probably one of the nicest people I've met in San Francisco and a great, attentive, and on the ball property manager, Jan was always available, took great care of the building, and was really cool about watching for and keeping an eye on deliveries. And as I said, on top of all of that, and more importantly, Jan is just a warm, friendly person.

My apartment was basically newly renovated when I moved in and the building overall was well cared for, so I rarely had to call for things to be looked at. But the couple times I did have trouble with something, Jan, the office, and whomever they sent to do the work all coordinated well and resolved things to my satisfaction. I've heard tons of horror stories about some of the other larger landlords and rental management companies in San Francisco, but BPM really seems to be different. I'd happily recommend them to friends and family.

Home Realty Review

I can't say enough about Home Realty and their management team. I have been living in one of their buildings for almost 2 years now and they have been extremely responsive, attentive to issues that come up, and accommodating to their Tenants needs throughout. Obviously, in San Francisco, many buildings are extremely old and things come up so it is nice to have an ownership and a management company that keeps you informed as to what they are going to do to remedy each problem. I refer people to Home Realty for beautiful apartment rentals in the Marina, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill and Pacific Heights on a regular basis and will gladly continue to do so.

Berendt Properties Review

Craig came recommended to me by a mutual friend, and he found me an apartment in a beautiful building literally within hours, got me in to see it the next day (a gorgeous Saturday afternoon) and worked with me through my hectic traveling schedule to get me into the apartment within a week. Very professional, but also very easy going and friendly. I will pass along this recommendation to those who find themselves in a similar situation.

The only quirk that I found was the online application process, which worked well once you found it, but getting to it was not the clearest and most intuitive approach that I have seen in the past.  I did talk to the guy who ran the online process, though, and they recognized the issue and are looking to fix it.
